About me

I'm a mechanical engineer with a strong passion for human-centered design from conceptualization through builds to mass production (CAD, design analysis, generating of mechanical solutions, manufacture troubleshooting, injection molding, prototyping, design for manufacturing, quality control, and inspection, defining and execution of engineering tests).

I'm looking for new opportunities in the Bay Area after relocation from Boston, where I worked for FormLabs on the recently launched Quick Release Build Platforms 2 for SLA printers and cosmetic components for the next generation of FormLabs 3D printers.

    Other Interests

    I am passionate about travelling, arts, urbanism and architecture, photography, Russian and English literature, skating and ice-skating, web design and cars. Also, I graduated from the School of Arts by Voronezh State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (1-year of study), and the Musical School (5-year of study) in the piano specialization.

    I blog on Telegram, where I write about my work, things inspiring me, and discourse about design and manufacture. I participated in the creation and mentoring of a community for students interested in web design, programming, and engineering.

    My friends and I have our own business (zoomwedding.ru). We help Russian-speaking people to get married online.
    Also, we made an automatic bird feeder with a high-quality camera taking photos of the birds feeding on grains, when a motion sensor detects them, and then automatically posting those photos on a Telegram channel with the help of a Telegram bot. Our prototype was made of acrylic sheets with magnets safely securing the bird feeder outside the window. We’ve got a lot of fans on Telegram of our bird feeder, who want to make feeders like ours themselves or book them from us.
